Diet for gastritis of the stomach: menu of the day

What can you eat with gastritis of the stomach

Inflammation of the stomach lining is uncomfortable and painful.

In addition to drug therapy, a diet for gastritis is of great importance: the "right" foods do not irritate the walls, promote epithelial regeneration and maintain remission of the disease.

What to eat for gastritis

There are many reasons why gastritis develops:

  • Incorrect diet, with a predominance of dry, spicy and hot foods;
  • Unbalanced diets;
  • Abuse of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks;
  • Taking certain medications that irritate the stomach lining

Before talking about what you can eat with gastritis and what you should reject, it is necessary to know some basic postulates of the diet:

  1. Meals should be regular. You should not take long breaks between meals, lunch or afternoon tea skipped for any reason should not be replaced with a "double" dinner;
  2. For gastritis, fractional meals are shown, in small portions at short intervals;
  3. If possible, do not mix solid and liquid foods; the first courses must be separated from the second courses. Dishes with a liquid or pureed consistency are the easiest to digest;
  4. The temperature of food should not be too high or low, hot food is optimally absorbed and does not irritate the stomach;
  5. The use of table salt should be minimized and seasonings and spices should be completely abandoned;
  6. The diet should be rich in vitamins, but fiber for gastritis patients is too heavy a food;
  7. Dishes are cooked boiled (steamed) or stewed;
